Devin Weston is an eccentric billionaire and, according to TechRadar and IGN, one of the main antagonists of Grand Theft Auto V. He appears to be a useful employer at first, but his wealth hints at how far he will go to protect it.
Who he is
TechRadar describes Devin as enormously powerful and focused on his money above everything, including the lives of Michael, Franklin and Trevor. He is also one of the main backers of the corrupt FIB agent Steve Haines.
Role in the story
IGN’s guide explains that Devin hires the crew to steal a set of five very rare cars, without ever planning to pay them properly. Missions such as “Pack Man” involve delivering one of these cars, a JB 700, after a police chase near Paleto Bay. In “Deep Inside”, which also centers on a JB 700, a woman named Molly gives Franklin the details of the job.
Voice actor
We have not found a credit for Devin’s actor from Rockstar or a major outlet, so it is left out here.
Spoiler
After the final heist, IGN notes that Devin pays Franklin a visit as part of the setup for the three endings. In the ending where Franklin saves both Michael and Trevor, Trevor is assigned to deal with Devin, who is found hiding at his house, guarded by Merryweather security, and taken away in the trunk of a car before the final scene.
