Tagging up Turf is the first mission from Sweet. It introduces spray painting: CJ covers the tags of rival gangs around Idlewood with Grove Street ones.
Walkthrough
- After the cutscene, get in Sweet’s car and drive to the red marker in Idlewood. Sweet sprays the first tag to show you how.
- Find the five remaining tags, shown as green squares on the radar. The first is on the front of a blue house behind you.
- The second is in the alley behind the same house. Hop over the brick wall to reach it.
- Drive to the next spot. The third tag is on a red building.
- The fourth is in the alley behind the red building, where two Ballas wait. Deal with them, then spray the tag.
- The last tag is on a rooftop across from the red building. Jump the fence and climb onto the roof to reach it.
- Get back in Sweet’s car and drive home to finish.
Tips
- If you have no gun yet, a blast of spray paint to the face makes a gang member double over, which gives you time to tag and move on.
- GameSpot warns that spraying with police nearby can earn you a wanted star, so check for cops first.
- For the rooftop tag, GameSpot says to turn left after the second fence to find a block you can jump onto.
Rewards and unlocks
IGN lists Respect, $200 and a spray can that now appears at CJ’s house. Tags are also a collectable: GameSpot notes there are 100 to find around Los Santos.
