Cargobob only comes up if you pick the Off-shore plan for The Merryweather Heist. The crew needs a heavy lift helicopter, and the only one around is parked inside the Fort Zancudo military base.
Walkthrough
- Drive to Fort Zancudo. You can go in through the south front gate or the north back gate. IGN recommends the north side as the quicker route.
- Smash through the gate and turn right towards the airfield. Ignore the soldiers shooting at you.
- Jump out next to the Cargobob, take it and lift off straight away.
- A military helicopter follows and fires missiles. Fly straight and fast towards the ocean rather than trying fancy moves.
- Once you lose the pursuit, fly back to the airfield and land to finish.
Gold medal tips
- On a first playthrough the clock only starts when Trevor breaks into the base. On a replay it starts at once, so the drive to the base counts.
- Tilt the helicopter forward to build speed when you are being chased. Flying flat out towards the sea is the quickest way to escape.

The Cargobob is used in the Off-shore version of the heist.
