Minisub is a short setup job for Trevor. A freighter is carrying a small submersible, and the crew needs it for the heist that follows.
Walkthrough
- Drive to the location on the map, next to the large freighter.
- You can climb aboard and release the sub by hand, or knock it loose from outside. For the gold medal, stay off the ship.
- Go round to the side of the ship where the sub is hanging and shoot the cables that hold it with a sniper rifle.
- Dive into the water, get in the sub and steer it to the marker.
- Floyd loads the submersible onto a truck. Drive the truck to the next marker and get out to finish.
Gold medal tips
- The “no boarding” objective is the tricky one. Line up the cables from the shore side of the ship and take your time with each shot.
- Shooting the sub down is also the quickest route, which helps with the 8:30 limit.

IGN’s page does not list a cash reward. The sub you take here is used later in The Merryweather Heist.
