GTA car meets

A car meet is a GTA Online session where players line up their best builds, show them off and take photos, often finishing with a cruise or a race. Groups run them on Discord with hosts, themes and rules. Here are 10 groups that say how to join and when they meet.

The LS Car Meet

Rockstar's own car meet in GTA Online, a members' warehouse where anyone can show their car. Meet groups above run their own sessions anywhere on the map, so you don't need it to join them.

Analysis Meet etiquette

The groups here publish 25 rules between them. Most come down to the same five:

  1. Lose the police before you pull in.
  2. Park where the host says, and leave space around other cars.
  3. No ramming, crowding or standing on cars.
  4. No weapons, burnouts or flares while cars are on show.
  5. Bring a build that fits the theme, and race clean if a race follows.

Car meets in GTA 6

  • ObservedGamesRadar's breakdown of Trailer 1 says the footage appears to show car meet-ups and drag meets in Leonida. GamesRadar
  • ObservedTrailer 1 names a group called High Rollerz Lifestyle, which GamesRadar describes as a street racing group with high-end performance cars, and the Thrillbilly Mud Club, a mud truck group. GamesRadar
  • Not announcedRockstar has not announced a car meet feature or online car meets for GTA 6.

Common questions

Do I need LS Car Meet membership to join a group?

No. Groups meet in their own sessions anywhere on the map. Membership is for Rockstar's warehouse, its Test Track and its rewards.

Can I join a meet on any platform?

Only the one the group plays on. GTA Online sessions don't mix PlayStation, Xbox and PC, and each group's page says which it uses.

What car should I bring?

Whatever fits the host's theme. Many groups want clean, realistic builds. For the next game, our GTA 6 cars database lists every car Rockstar has shown.
