Derailed is a stunt and shootout mission for Trevor and Michael. It starts with a motorbike jump onto a train and ends in a gunfight by the water.
Walkthrough
- Get on the Sanchez and follow the GPS onto the rail line behind the train.
- Take the dirt road on the right to get above the train. Trevor has three chances to land on its roof.
- Ride along the roof to the front of the train and take over the engine.
- Speed the train up. The game switches to Michael.
- After the cutscene by the river, drive next to the orange cargo car and stick a bomb to its doors.
- Set it off, then fight three waves of Merryweather from cover by the large log: boats and helicopters first, gunmen on the bridge second, then a helicopter and parachuting gunmen.
- Board the boat with Michael. Shoot the pursuers as Trevor or drive as Michael, then head to the beach marker to finish.
Gold medal tips
- For the first jump, let go of the throttle before you hit the ramp. At full speed Trevor flies right over the train.
- Once on the roof, ride flat out to the front for the top speed objective, but keep control or you will fall off.
- Use a sniper rifle with thermal vision for the bridge gunmen and the ones on the hillside.
