Interdiction is the fourth of IGN’s mystery missions, given by Mike Toreno. CJ signals a helicopter carrying cargo, guards it from agency helicopters and brings the cargo to a hideout.
Walkthrough
- After talking with Toreno, take the BF Injection on the right and drive to El Castillo del Diablo.
- Drive into the red marker for a cutscene. Toreno tells CJ to take the rocket launcher and a vehicle up the mountain.
- Grab the rocket launcher by the house, pick one of the three vehicles and drive to the red marker at the top.
- CJ fires a flare. The cargo helicopter heads in, followed by enemy helicopters.
- Shoot down five helicopters: two, then two more, then one.
- The cargo is dropped north of Verdant Meadows. Get a vehicle and drive to the green blip to pick it up.
- Take the cargo to the hideout to finish.
Tips
- Let the enemy helicopters come close before firing, and watch the cargo helicopter’s health at the top right.
- IGN says a heat seeking rocket launcher makes this much easier if you have one.
- A Seasparrow sits near the drop point, shown as a blue blip. GameSpot suggests using it to carry the cargo.
- GameSpot notes there is no timer, so take your time.
