Running Dog
Drive Big Smoke to a meet, then chase a fleeing Vagos dealer on foot. One of the shortest missions in GTA San Andreas.

Running Dog is the second mission from Big Smoke. Both IGN and GameSpot rate it as one of the easiest in the game: a short drive followed by a foot chase.
Walkthrough
- After the cutscene, drive Big Smoke to the meet and stop in the red marker.
- A cutscene shows two Vagos. Smoke knocks one down and the other runs off.
- Chase the runner on foot. If you lose sight of him, he shows as a red square on the radar.
- He runs past two more gang members, who open fire as you get close. Keep running past them. They do not follow.
- Catch up, shoot him, and pick up the cash and ammo he drops to finish.
Tips
- High stamina makes the chase much easier. IGN suggests training at the gym first. You can use it once a day, and saving at CJ’s house moves time forward.
- Bring a gun with ammo. If you are short, stock up at Emmet’s place before starting.
- Do not waste time fighting the two gang members on the route. Stay on your target.
