The Quad is a four wheeled quad bike built for rough ground. IGN’s vehicle guide rates it highly, calling it the ultimate off road vehicle: fast, easy to steer and happy on any terrain. It also says riding one is simply a fun experience.
Where to find it
IGN lists two places to look:
- Las Payasadas, Bone County. Check the area just east of the trailer parks in Las Payasadas, in Bone County.
- Mount Chiliad. IGN also lists Mount Chiliad, where the Quad’s all terrain grip is put to good use.
How it handles
According to IGN, the Quad is quick, very manoeuvrable and handles all terrain. That makes it a handy way to reach out of the way spots in the countryside, away from the roads.
In the story
Quad bikes also turn up in the missions. PC Gamer’s review of San Andreas lists chasing down thieves on quad bikes among the many varied jobs the story throws at you, alongside stealing a combine harvester and robbing a bank.
