Leaf Links is the middle of the three smaller islands of Vice City, between Prawn Island and Starfish Island. The island is home to the Leaf Links golf course, which GameSpot calls expansive, with a driving range, sand traps, water hazards and a winding road.
Four Iron
The island’s main story moment is Four Iron, the first mission for real estate man Avery Carrington. GameSpot’s walkthrough sets it up like this:
- Visit the JockSport store to get country club clothes before you go.
- The course has only one entrance, and walking through its security checkpoint takes away your guns. GameSpot describes a way to hop the fence near a black ramp if you want to keep them.
- Your target rides around in a golf cart with guards. You can ram the cart, shoot him, or wait at the entrance in case he tries to escape.
Afterwards the country club outfit can be picked up at the club, according to GameSpot.
Collectibles
IGN and GamesRadar+ list 5 hidden packages on Leaf Links:
- At the end of the driving range on the north side.
- In a sand trap at the end of the winding road on the west side.
- Under the Leaf Links bridge, across from Mercedes’ house.
- On a small palm island in a water hazard on the south side. GamesRadar+ notes the water is shallow enough to walk through.
- On the golden pedestrian bridge at the southern end of the course.
IGN’s older rampage list also puts a chainsaw rampage on the wooden docks just under the Leaf Links bridge, on the Vice Point side.
Nearby
Links View Apartments overlook the course. IGN places them in Washington Beach across from Leaf Links, while GameSpot lists them under Leaf Links at $6,000 with a one car garage. IGN’s Sunshine Autos guide also names Leaf Links as the place to find a white Comet.
