Prawn Island is the northernmost of the three smaller islands of Vice City. Bridges connect it to Downtown on the mainland and to Vice Point on the beach side. GameSpot calls it otherwise desolate, and IGN’s guide goes further, calling the film studio the only good thing on the island.
What’s here
- InterGlobal Films, a walled movie studio lot with sound stages, which Tommy Vercetti can buy for $60,000 after the story mission Shakedown. It earns up to $7,000 a day once its missions are done, according to IGN.
- A few large mansions, including a green one on the west side facing Downtown and a run down yellow one in the northeast corner with a broken wall, per IGN.
Collectibles
IGN and GamesRadar+ both count 5 hidden packages here:
- Two inside the studio lot, one inside Stage C and one on the roof of the light blue building. You can reach them early with a stunt jump from the rooftops east of the studio walls, or by buying the studio.
- One in an alley just around the corner from the studio, on the east edge.
- One on the back porch of the green mansion on the west side.
- One in a closed off room of the ruined yellow mansion, which you drop into from the floor above. IGN warns the jump can take a few tries.
Missions
The island’s missions all come from the studio. Its four asset missions for Steve Scott are Recruitment Drive, Dildo Dodo, Martha’s Mug Shot and G-Spotlight. GameSpot notes that the seaplane for Dildo Dodo waits around the back of the studio.
Nearby
IGN suggests the cheap 3321 Vice Point safehouse for quick trips here, since it is close to the Prawn Island bridge.
