North Point Mall
North Point Mall is the two floor mall in Vice Point, GTA Vice City. Tommy wrecks it in Shakedown and Cop Land, and four hidden packages are around it.

North Point Mall is the large indoor shopping mall in Vice Point, at the northern end of the east island of Vice City. Rockstar’s manual for the game promises “every conceivable opportunity for a bit of retail therapy.” It has two floors linked by escalators, with stores such as the Gash department store and Vinyl Countdown.
Story missions
The mall’s big moment is Shakedown, the first story mission after Tommy Vercetti moves into the Vercetti Estate. GameSpot’s walkthrough calls it the Vice Point Mall and gives you five minutes to smash all the breakable glass inside, downstairs and up, while the police close in. GameSpot suggests entering from the south side so you come out right by the Gash store. Once Shakedown is done, businesses across the city go up for sale.
The mall comes back in Cop Land, a later Tommy mission. IGN’s walkthrough has Tommy and Lance Vance disguise themselves as police, drive a cop car into North Point Mall and plant a bomb at the Tarbrush Cafe, then escape a five star wanted level back to the Vercetti Estate.
GameSpot also notes that after the story mission Riot, a coverall outfit can be picked up from the tool shop in North Point Mall.
Collectibles and side activities
GamesRadar+ lists four hidden packages in and around the mall:
- In the alley between the two north entrances.
- Between the Sale signs on the east side of the upper floor.
- Inside the Gash store at the south end, on the upper floor above the escalator.
- Near the entrance to the parking lot on the west side.
IGN’s older rampage list puts a rocket launcher rampage on the second floor next to Vinyl Countdown, an assault rifle rampage at the eastern entrance and another just north of the mall parking lot. For the Sunshine Autos import list, IGN says the yellow Sabre is found around North Point Mall.
Nearby
The cheapest safehouse on the beach side, 3321 Vice Point, is close by, and IGN notes it is a short drive over the bridge to Prawn Island. The Malibu Club is also in Vice Point.
