The Malibu Club is a neon nightclub in Vice Point, on the east island of Vice City. GamesRadar+ calls it one of the most prestigious spots in the original game and says it was inspired by the Babylon Club from the 1983 film Scarface.
Before you own it
Early in the story the club is a meeting place. IGN’s guide notes that you come here to talk to Kent Paul, and the Print Works mission Spilling the Beans also starts with a chat with him at the bar. IGN warns that causing trouble inside before you own the club gets you shot by the bartender.
Buying the club
The club goes on sale once the story mission Shakedown is done. IGN lists the price as $120,000, which makes it one of the most expensive assets in the game. It only earns money after you finish its four asset missions:
The first three recruit a crew, and The Job is the raid on the bank El Banco Corrupto Grande, with a $50,000 reward according to GameSpot. After that the club pays up to $10,000 a day, according to IGN, which you collect from the money pickup outside. IGN also notes that owning the Malibu is needed to finish the main story and for 100% completion.
Nearby
GamesRadar+ lists a hidden package behind the wall in the Malibu Club parking lot, and another on the roof of the hotel diagonally opposite. North Point Mall is also in Vice Point.
