Phil's homemade boomshine goes badly wrong. Tommy, dizzy from the fumes, rushes him to a hospital and then to a surgeon in Little Havana.

Boomshine Saigon is the second and last mission for Phil Cassidy. Phil has an accident with his boomshine still, and this time it is serious. Tommy has to get him help quickly, while the fumes make it hard to drive straight.
Walkthrough
- Talk to Phil again and watch the cutscene.
- Get Phil into a car and drive toward the hospital. The screen sways, so keep your speed under control.
- At the hospital, Phil decides there are too many police around.
- Drive on to the surgeon he knows in Little Havana. GameSpot notes it is not far.
- Arrive at the surgeon’s place to finish.
Tips
- Do not go flat out. IGN and GameSpot both advise a steady pace, since the wobbling view makes high speed crashes likely.
- You still have to move with some urgency, as GameSpot warns Phil will not last forever.
- Stick to wide roads where small drifts in your steering do not matter much.
Rewards and unlocks
You earn $4,000. Phil’s place does not pay a daily income, but GameSpot says you can now buy military weapons there, including remote grenades and the Minigun.
