Paleto Score Setup is the planning trip for The Paleto Score. The crew heads north to a small town bank, sees how fast the police turn up, and picks a gunman for the job.
Walkthrough
- Go to the meth lab and head upstairs to start. After the cutscene, go down and get in Michael’s car with Trevor.
- Drive to Paleto Bay and stop at the marker to pick up Lester.
- Drive to the bank and look at the front door.
- Pull round to the grass at the side of the bank. When prompted, shoot the white alarm box.
- Get back in the car and wait at the nearby gas station, parked facing the other way.
- When the police arrive, Trevor jumps onto a motorbike. Race back to the meth lab, either as Michael in the car or as Trevor on the bike.
- Back at the lab, choose an extra gunman for the heist to finish.
Gold medal tips
- The 3:30 timer only covers the drive to the meeting point with Lester, not the bank itself, as IGN points out.
- Upgrading Michael’s car at Los Santos Customs before this mission helps with both the drive and the race.
- If Michael’s car is stock, switch to Trevor for the race and ride hard up the mountain road.
Rewards and unlocks
IGN suggests Packie or Chef as good gunman choices for the heist.
