The Bureau Raid sends the crew into the FIB building to recover data from its servers. How it plays depends on the approach you picked in Architect’s Plans.
Walkthrough
Firetruck access (after the getaway vehicle and fire truck preps):
- As Michael, enter the FIB building, take the lift up and grab the mop and bucket from the maintenance room.
- Mop each dirty spot, then plant the devices in the locker and in the men’s room. Walk out of the building.
- As Franklin, pick Michael up in the fire truck and set off the devices.
- Follow Michael upstairs, blow the server room door with a sticky bomb and take the drive.
- Head down through the burning floors, fight the agents in your way, abseil down the lift shaft and drive the fire truck to your getaway car. Destroy the truck and drive to Lester’s house.
Rooftop access:
- Meet at the garment factory, drive to the NOOSE headquarters and fly the helicopter to the jump point.
- Parachute onto the FIB roof, blow the door and let your hacker guide you through the two hacking programs.
- Hold off the agents while the hack runs, then fight down several floors, abseil, bring down the helicopter and reach the ambulance. Drive to Franklin’s house.
Gold medal tips
- Mopping: dip the mop again after each spot.
- Abseil: hold the faster descent button and dodge falling debris.
- Perfect Drop: slow your descent early and aim for the yellow marker.
- Hacker: match the red numbers on the first program, then type the password into the second quickly.
- No Innocents: at street level, only shoot targets with a red marker on the radar.
Rewards and unlocks
GamesRadar lists the achievement or trophy “The Government Gimps” as unlocked after this heist. IGN says the rooftop approach raises your crew members’ stats more. The story continues with The Wrap Up.
