The Strip is the main casino boulevard of Las Venturas, the city Rockstar’s manual sells as the gambling centre of the country. The manual adds that Las Venturas Airport is only minutes from the strip, so new arrivals are never far from the tables. PC Gamer wrote that once CJ hits the strip, the story shifts gear and starts to feel like a James Bond film.
What’s there
IGN’s walkthrough places the Royal Casino on the strip, and its Horseshoe guide hides one of the 50 Horseshoes on the third level of the Royal Casino’s parking garage. Caligula’s Palace and The Four Dragons Casino are the two casinos at the center of the story.
GamesRadar+ notes that players met Elvis Presley lookalikes on the Las Venturas Strip and took them as proof of an old rumor that the King was alive in GTA. They are simply Vegas style Elvis impersonators.
Cars
The Strip is a good place to find fast cars. IGN says the Turismo is found mostly here, driving up and down the area, and lists the strip as one of the places to find an Infernus. For the Exports and Imports list, IGN points to The Strip for both the Cheetah and the Slamvan.
Story
In the Las Venturas chapter, the mission Madd Dogg starts in front of the Royal Casino on the strip. Madd Dogg is about to jump from the building, and CJ has to catch him in the back of a pickup truck and rush him to hospital.
