First Base is the first mission given by Catalina herself. After CJ leaves Cesar and Kendl at the trailer in Angel Pine, she calls in a rage, and CJ has to sort things out in person. It works as a short link into the next robbery.
Walkthrough
- Drive to Catalina’s icon, a purple C on the map. GameSpot warns it is a long drive.
- Pick up the shovel near her house if you want it.
- Drive into the red marker for the cutscene. CJ agrees to more robberies.
- Get back in your car and follow the marker to the nearest robbery, the betting shop in Montgomery. That starts Against All Odds.
Tips
- GameSpot notes there is a save point close to Catalina’s place. Use it before you go in.
Rewards and unlocks
IGN lists no reward. The mission leads straight into the betting shop job.
Next: Against All Odds.
