If you pre-order GTA 6 digitally, you get a free month of GTA+. Here is what that membership is, what it costs after the free month, and what members get right now.
What GTA+ applies to
GTA+ is a paid membership for GTA Online, the online mode that comes with GTA V. It works on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the PC Enhanced version of GTA V. It does not cover the older PS4 or Xbox One versions.
GTA+ is not a GTA 6 subscription. GTA 6 launches on November 19 as a single-player game, and Rockstar has not said that GTA+ will include any GTA 6 content or perks. Rockstar’s pre-order announcement describes GTA+ as the best way to get the most out of GTA Online.
Price
GTA+ is billed monthly and renews automatically until you cancel. Current store prices on console:
| Region | Monthly price |
|---|---|
| US | $7.99 |
| UK | £6.99 |
| Eurozone | €7.99 |
These prices are taken from the PlayStation Store listings. Xbox lists the same $7.99 US price. On PC you buy it through the Rockstar Store, Steam or the Microsoft Store, and local prices vary.
What every member gets each month
Some benefits stay the same every month:
- GTA$500,000 paid into your in-game Maze Bank account each time you are billed.
- Member-only Shark Cards with 15% bonus GTA$.
- The Vinewood Club app on your in-game phone, for managing businesses and requesting vehicles.
- The GTA+ Games Library, a rotating set of older Rockstar games to download and play.
Other rewards change each month and are announced on the Rockstar Newswire.
October 2026 rewards

The free month with GTA 6 pre-orders
Rockstar is giving one free month of GTA+ with digital copies of GTA 6. The main terms, from Rockstar’s pre-order announcement, Rockstar Support and PlayStation’s offer page:
- Who qualifies: Digital purchases or pre-orders of the Standard or Ultimate Edition made before November 20, 2026 (PlayStation’s terms say “by November 19”). The Ultimate Edition upgrade on its own does not count on PlayStation.
- Physical copies: The offer is for digital versions. The code-in-box retail version is not listed as eligible.
- When you can use it: Straight away, so you can redeem it before GTA 6 comes out. If you redeem it early, the free month may run out before November 19.
- How to claim on PlayStation: After buying, you get an email with instructions. You then claim it from the GTA+ page on the PlayStation Store by March 31, 2027.
- Limits: One claim per account. Getting a refund and pre-ordering again does not give you a second month.
- Existing members: The free month is added to your current membership, which moves your next billing date back by one month.
- After the free month: Your membership renews at the normal monthly price unless you cancel in your console’s subscription settings before the renewal date.
Claim steps and deadlines differ on Xbox. Check Rockstar Support’s article on redeeming the GTA 6 pre-order GTA+ month (listed in our sources) before you redeem.
What it means for you
The free month gets you GTA Online perks and the Games Library. It does nothing inside GTA 6. If you mainly want to play GTA 6 and do not play GTA Online, you may want to cancel before the free month ends so you are not charged.
