Palomino Creek is a town in Red County, in the countryside where CJ spends the middle part of the story. It is reached by a red bridge, and next to it is a broken wooden bridge that IGN’s guides use as a landmark for both a stunt jump and a hidden oyster.
Small Town Bank
The town’s bank is the last of Catalina’s four robberies, after the cut scene mission Made in Heaven. IGN’s walkthrough has CJ keep the staff and guard covered while Catalina works on the safe. Someone hits the panic alarm anyway, so CJ smashes the ATMs for cash and follows Catalina out the back into an alley full of police. The pair escape on two police motorbikes, jumping back over the broken bridge with officers in pursuit, then fight their way past a roadblock and head back to Catalina’s hideout. IGN puts the reward at $10,000.
Palomino Creek also appears earlier in Local Liquor Store, when CJ and Catalina chase a gang of robbers on quad bikes. IGN notes the chase crosses a rickety bridge near Palomino Creek that counts as a stunt jump.
