Dillimore is a small town in Red County, out in the countryside beyond Los Santos. IGN notes that the drive there after Badlands is a long one, since the town sits in a different county altogether.
Catalina
After Badlands, the only mission open is First Date, marked with a question mark. IGN’s walkthrough sends CJ to Dillimore, where he meets Cesar’s cousin Catalina, first seen in GTA 3. She has picked four places to rob, and the nearest is the town’s gas station.
That robbery becomes Tanker Commander. The bulletproof glass at the counter defeats Catalina, so she decides to steal the tanker trailer instead. CJ backs a truck onto it and hauls it away while the attendants chase and shoot at him, earning $5,000. Later, in Against All Odds, IGN calls Dillimore the site of this robbery, and both IGN and GameSpot point out that its Pay ‘N’ Spray is the nearest one when the cops chase you out of Montgomery.
What’s there
- Pay ‘N’ Spray: the go to place for losing a wanted level during Catalina’s robberies.
- Safehouse: IGN lists one in Dillimore at $40,000, available after The Green Sabre.
- Gas station and police station: the town’s unique jump, launched from a metal ramp by a garage near The Welcome Pump, ends between the two.
- Max Pane: IGN spotted a small “Max Pane” sign on the gas station’s window, a nod to the Max Payne series that Rockstar published and later continued with Max Payne 3.
