Home Coming
CJ collects Sweet and heads back to Grove Street, which is overrun. Win a gang war against the Ballas and clear out the dealers.

CJ is back in Los Santos to pick up Sweet. Sweet wants to go straight home, but Grove Street is now full of Ballas and drug dealers.
Walkthrough
- After the cutscene, take a vehicle to the police station and pick up Sweet.
- Drive to Grove Street as he asks.
- Shoot three Ballas to start a gang war, then survive three waves. Use the houses and parked cars as cover.
- Health and armor drop now and then during the fight. Pick them up when you need them.
- With the Ballas beaten, kill the dealers. They have red blips on the minimap and red arrows overhead.
- Killing the last dealer plays a cutscene and ends the mission.
Tips
- You can take on the dealers first, but IGN recommends starting with the Ballas, since the dealers are the easy part.
- GameSpot suggests picking up body armor at Madd Dogg’s mansion before you start.
- Sweet tends to wander into your line of fire, so check your aim.
- GameSpot advises moving any cars out of Big Smoke’s driveway before the final cutscene, as CJ can sometimes end up stuck inside one and you then have to reload.
Rewards and unlocks
You earn Respect. Grove Street is yours again, and gang wars can be resumed.
