Home Invasion is the second mission from Ryder. The target is Colonel Fuhrberger’s house, where a stash of guns sits in boxes while he sleeps. It is the game’s first stealth job, and it runs against a daylight timer.
Walkthrough
- Get in the truck with Ryder and drive to the house on the radar. You have eight minutes, shown as the daylight timer.
- Park in the red marker outside and go in quietly. A noise meter appears in the top right.
- The first box is to your right as you enter. Carry it out slowly and load it into the back of the truck.
- The second box is at the top of the stairs.
- The third is at the end of the upstairs hallway. Creep back down and load it.
- Drive the truck to the lockup and park inside to finish.
Tips
- Move extra slowly near the colonel. The closer you are, the easier he wakes, and waking him fails the mission.
- GameSpot advises tilting the stick very gently to sneak.
- Three boxes are all you need. GameSpot notes that carrying more does not change the reward.
- Boxes are marked with green arrows, so you will not miss them.
Rewards and unlocks
IGN lists Respect. Burglaries are now available at night outside missions, using the same type of truck. GameSpot notes there is one of these trucks south of the gym in Los Santos.
