Road Kill is the first of the pay phone assassination jobs. After Jury Fury, a caller who goes by Mr. Black reaches Tommy, and answering the pay phone starts the job. The target is Carl Peterson, a pizza delivery man, who Mr. Black believes is someone else in disguise. IGN treats it as a tutorial for the harder contracts that follow.
Walkthrough
- Drive to the pay phone marker and answer it. The mission starts as soon as the call ends.
- Get back in your car. The radar marks Peterson’s position.
- Catch up with his scooter. He has a long delivery round and his scooter is slow, so you have time.
- Ram the scooter to knock him off, then run him over or finish him another way.
Tips
- Bring a fast car to the pay phone so you are ready to chase straight away.
- If Peterson survives the crash, IGN says he may run or try to climb back on the scooter. Stay close.
- A drive by also works if you have a submachine gun.
- The time limit is generous, so a missed ram or two is not a problem.
Rewards and unlocks
You earn $500. Mr. Black then goes quiet for a while. His next contract, Waste the Wife, comes after Colonel Cortez’s Mall Shootout.
