The Banshee is a sports car that has appeared in every Grand Theft Auto game since GTA 3. The Vice City version stands apart from the rest of the line. PC Gamer and GamesRadar both point out that, where other Banshees take after the Dodge Viper, the Vice City car follows the 1980s Corvette C4 instead, with twin exhausts and a bright red finish and no speed stripe.
Where to find it
IGN’s Sunshine Autos guide says the Banshee you need for the import list is a red car found in the center of Starfish Island, which is also home to the Vercetti Estate.
Sunshine Autos
The Banshee is one of the six cars on list 3 at Sunshine Autos, the Sports Cars list. The others are the Cheetah, Infernus, Phoenix, Comet and Stinger. The garage takes each car for good once the door closes.
On the road
GamesRadar describes the Vice City Banshee as a dependable car that is still quick enough to outrun the police. PC Gamer’s writer made it a regular getaway car and praises how well it handles the winding bend outside the Malibu Club. That writer also used a Banshee to soften the blow of the five star escape in Cop Land, after finding a regular car easier than the squad car the mission suggests.
