The Stinger is a sports car in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and one of the six cars on the Sports Cars import list at Sunshine Autos.
Where to find it
IGN describes the Stinger you need for the import list as a light blue car seen in Ocean Beach or on Starfish Island. Cars on the import lists mostly drive around their area, so keep circling until one passes.
In the story
The Stinger has a part in Shakedown, the first mission Tommy runs for himself after taking over the Vercetti Estate. IGN’s walkthrough says to pick up the body armor by the steps, get in the Stinger outside and race to North Point Mall, where you have five minutes to smash the shop windows. GameSpot’s guide stresses getting a fast car and keeping your speed up on that drive, because every second counts.
GameSpot also names the Stinger, along with the Hotring Racer, as a good pick for the escape in No Escape?, where acceleration and speed help you shake a five star wanted level.
