The Phoenix is one of the quick sports cars of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. IGN’s 2002 review lists it with the game’s sports cars, and IGN’s guide puts it on the Sports Cars import list at Sunshine Autos.
Where to find it
IGN describes the Phoenix you need for the import list as a silver car on Starfish Island or in Ocean Beach. The wanted cars mostly cruise around their part of town, so it can take a few laps to spot one.
Handling
GameSpot’s guide uses the Phoenix as its example of a car that rewards care. It is fast, but the guide warns that speed is of little use if you can’t keep the car under control, and suggests trying different cars to learn which ones suit you. Getting to know the cars also makes the Sunshine Autos lists easier, because you will recognize the models you need when they drive past.
Sunshine Autos
Once Tommy buys Sunshine Autos, the Phoenix is one of six cars on list 3, with the Cheetah, Infernus, Banshee, Comet and Stinger. Delivered cars are kept by the garage. IGN says finishing the list lifts the garage’s income to $6,500 a day and leaves a Sandking in the showroom.
Top speed
We don’t list a top speed because we haven’t found a measured or official figure from an allowed source.
