The Cheetah is a fast sports car in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. IGN lists it among the game’s fastest cars and puts it on the Sports Cars import list at Sunshine Autos.
Where to find it
IGN describes the import list Cheetah as a red car on Starfish Island and along Ocean Drive. Like most cars on the import lists, it drives around a set area rather than waiting in one parking spot, so it can take a few laps to find.
Sunshine Autos
After you buy Sunshine Autos, the Cheetah is one of six cars on list 3, alongside the Infernus, Banshee, Phoenix, Comet and Stinger. Any car you drive into the garage is gone for good, so don’t deliver one you want to keep.
Street races
IGN’s street race guide suggests taking the Cheetah or the Infernus into the six Sunshine Autos races, since you choose your own car for each one.
In the story
IGN’s walkthrough of Recruitment Drive, the first InterGlobal Films mission, suggests bringing a fast car such as the Cheetah. You have to chase down the agent of Candy Suxxx, and ramming his car is one way to force him out onto the street.
The police Cheetah
The Cheetah also works for the other side. GameSpot’s guide says that once you reach three wanted stars, undercover police in the fast and agile Cheetah join the chase. IGN’s vehicle locations page lists no known parking spot for the police version. If you do get one, IGN recommends it for the Vigilante side missions, since it is one of the fastest cars in the game.
Top speed
