Vapid Caracara 4x4

The Vapid Caracara 4x4 is one of the easiest trucks to pick out in Rockstar’s trailers. GamesRadar and PC Gamer both identify it in Trailer 1 and again at the start of Trailer 2.

Key facts

Where it has been seen

• Trailer 1: GamesRadar spots a lifeguard version of the Caracara in the background of the beach scene.
• Trailer 2: GamesRadar lists it in the opening shots at Jason’s place, where he is fixing the roof. PC Gamer says the truck belongs to Brian Heder, Jason’s landlord.

Seen in the trailers, frame by frame

We checked Rockstar’s official trailers frame by frame. The name is readable: VAPID across the grille and CARACARA on the hood stripe.

• Trailer 2 at 0:10: silver crew-cab Caracara parked on a sandy driveway in the opening scene, with VAPID on the grille and CARACARA on the hood. It has two axles, so it is the 4x4.

How to get it

Rockstar has not said how to get it. We will fill this in once the game confirms it.

In GTA history

• GamesRadar lists the Caracara 4x4 among the vehicles returning from earlier games rather than as a new arrival.
• PC Gamer calls it the easiest vehicle to spot in Trailer 2 after Jason’s Vapid Ganado.
