Who he is

Rockstar describes Dre’Quan as more of a hustler than a gangster. Even when he was dealing on the streets to make ends meet, his real goal was breaking into music. His official profile quotes him saying “Dancers are like my A&Rs”, followed by the idea that a hit record will get DJs spinning it.

Dre’Quan runs Only Raw Records with Boobie Ike. Boobie’s profile calls him a young, aspiring music mogul. His big signing so far is the rap duo Real Dimez. Now that they are on the label, Rockstar says his days of booking acts into Boobie’s strip club might be numbered, as he sets his sights on the wider Vice City music scene.

TechRadar, covering the cast reveal alongside Trailer 2, suggested that the label’s hunt for a hit could become a plot thread in the game. That is the outlet’s reading.

Dre’Quan was not named in the outlet coverage of An Extended Look or the Launch Trailer that we checked. Rockstar has not said whether Only Raw Records music plays on the in game radio, or who voices him.
