Solomon Richards runs the Richards Majestic movie studio in Grand Theft Auto V. IGN’s guide describes him as a studio head who befriends Michael De Santa and eventually makes him an associate producer, which feeds Michael’s lifelong dream of making movies.
Role in the story
Solomon is the way into Michael’s Vinewood storyline. In the mission “Mr. Richards”, Michael deals with a troublemaker named Rocco, and the gold medal goals include taking no damage in the fight with him. Later, in “The Ballad of Rocco”, Rocco causes trouble for Solomon again and Michael steps in to protect his new friend.
This thread leads to the mission “Meltdown”, the premiere of the studio’s film. GamesRadar describes it as the point where Michael fulfills his lifelong dream of producing a movie, and Meltdown can then be watched in the game’s movie theaters.
Extra content
Solomon’s office plays a part in one of GTA 5’s side mysteries. GamesRadar explains that after “Meltdown” you can visit the marker outside his office at Richards Majestic after 21:00 to find the final clue of the murder mystery on his desk.
He also returns in GTA Online. GamesRadar notes that ten of Solomon’s movie props were stolen from his office, and players can track them down for a cash bonus and a special outfit.
