Stingers is one of the two preps for the subtle approach to The Big Score. The crew needs a police transporter van, and the cleanest way to get one is to take it without anyone noticing.
Walkthrough
- Head to the marker. The van is parked at a police lot right next to the tow truck yard.
- Do not walk in through the front while officers are around, or you get a wanted star.
- Go around to the back of the building where the van is parked and climb over the wall.
- Get in the van and drive out. If no one heard you, you leave without a wanted level.
- If the guard did hear you, you get two stars as soon as you get in. IGN suggests hiding in the parking garage directly behind the police station until the stars clear.
- Drive the van carefully to the Vanilla Unicorn to finish.
Gold medal tips
- IGN’s key tip: when you drop down from the wall, roll as you land. Landing on both feet makes a thud that can alert the guard, while a roll is silent.
- Done quietly, the whole steal and escape can take about a minute, well inside the 2:00 target.
- For “Not a Scratch”, treat the van gently on the drive to the club. Avoid traffic at junctions and take corners slowly.
Rewards and unlocks
