Lamar Down brings all three protagonists together to get Lamar out of a bad spot. It starts with a warning to Franklin and ends in a large gunfight at a mill in the north of the map.
Walkthrough
- The mission starts at Franklin’s house with Tanisha’s visit. After the cutscene, drive all the way to Paleto Bay to meet Michael and Trevor.
- Michael takes a sniper position on the hill while Trevor and Franklin go in on foot. Trevor is offered three routes in. IGN recommends the western path past the bulldozer, which keeps you from being swarmed from the south.
- Clear the Ballas on the western side and work toward the back of the mill, staying in cover with Franklin beside you.
- Shoot the gunman perched above as you move north, then push up the hill to the back of the mill.
- Follow Franklin to find Lamar beside the building. There is a health pack on the wall nearby.
- Fight back down to the cars. Two more carloads of Ballas arrive, so clear them first.
- Take any vehicle and drive Lamar home to Strawberry to finish.
Gold medal tips
- Three Way: early on, switch between all three and get at least one kill with each. Michael’s sniper rifle makes his easy.
- Michael is also the best source of headshots. Switch back to him whenever a group bunches up.
- Fire from cover in short bursts to keep accuracy above 70%.
