Gauntlet is the second prep for the subtle approach to The Big Score. IGN covers it as “Gauntlet 1-2-3” because you repeat the same job three times. Each time, Lester emails a photo and location of a parked Bravado Gauntlet.
Walkthrough
- First car: on the roof of a parking garage in Pillbox Hill.
- Second car: parked on the street in Rockford Hills, near the jewelry store from the earlier heist.
- Third car: in Mission Row.
- For each car, take it without worrying about the police. IGN says these thefts do not draw a wanted level.
- Drive it to Los Santos Customs and buy the heist package plus the extra upgrades.
- Drive the finished car to the hideout. Repeat for all three.
Gold medal tips
- The objectives apply to all three cars, so every one needs the same care.
- “Mapped” means using the exact car from Lester’s photo, not any Gauntlet you happen to find on the road.
- “Not a Scratch” covers both legs: the drive to Los Santos Customs and the drive to the hideout. Repairs at the shop do not save you if you damaged it on the way in.
- For “Pimped Out”, buy the heist package and all the extras offered with it to reach the $17,000 spend.
Rewards and unlocks
No payout is listed. With Stingers also done, the subtle version of The Big Score is ready.
