Riot is a short drive, but it changes Los Santos for the rest of the story. The crew watches the news at Madd Dogg’s mansion, and the city explodes into riots.
Walkthrough
- Watch the opening cutscene at the mansion.
- Sweet wants to keep the trouble away from Grove Street, so get a car with him.
- Drive through the city to Grove Street.
- Stop in the red marker to finish.
Tips
- Expect cars to explode at random along the way. GameSpot warns about this in particular, so drive with care.
- IGN notes that rioters fight each other in the street, fires break out and carjackings become more common.
Rewards and unlocks
IGN lists no reward. From now on, Los Santos stays in its riot state, which IGN notes makes the remaining missions harder. That is why it pays to claim gang territory during Grove 4 Life.
