Phnom Penh ‘86 is the second mission for Ricardo Diaz and one GameSpot suggests replaying just for fun. Lance Vance flies a helicopter over Leaf Links to the thieves’ hideout on Prawn Island, while Tommy fires a heavy machine gun from the side.
Walkthrough
- Visit Diaz. The mission starts straight away and Lance takes off.
- On the first passes, shoot the oil drums on the roof. The blasts take out most of the gunmen.
- Pick off the rest, then clear the side of the building as the helicopter drops lower.
- At the front of the house, shoot the parked cars to catch the men hiding behind them.
- When Lance lands, go in through the front door and clear the staircases with the machine gun.
- Climb to the roof, deal with anyone left and grab the briefcase. Lance picks you up to finish.
Tips
- Watch the helicopter’s health gauge. If it reaches zero, the mission is over, so shoot fast.
- IGN notes the gun has unlimited ammo while you are in the air. GameSpot says you keep about 100 rounds once you are on foot.
- Target anything that explodes first. It saves time and ammo.
Rewards and unlocks
You earn $2,000. IGN notes that the rest of the map opens after this mission. Diaz’s next job is The Fastest Boat, and Colonel Cortez calls about Sir, Yes Sir!.
