The Truffade Adder is one of the headline supercars of Grand Theft Auto V. It sits in the Super class, the top tier for road cars, and it has long been one of the cars players aim for first once the money starts coming in.
Where to find it in Story Mode
- Buy it. IGN lists the Adder on the in game Legendary Motorsport website for $1,000,000 in Story Mode.
- Find it. IGN’s secret vehicles guide says an Adder can be found southeast of the Ponsonbys clothing store near Portola Drive in Rockford Hills, an expensive part of Los Santos where a car like this fits in.
A car you take off the street costs nothing, but a bought car is easier to keep track of because it is delivered to your garage.
Upgrades
IGN’s guide lists the Adder’s Story Mode upgrade prices at Los Santos Customs, from armor and brakes to engine, transmission and turbo tuning. Story Mode upgrades cost less than the same parts in GTA Online.
Good uses
Its speed makes it handy for dashes across the map. IGN’s guide to stealing the P-996 Lazer even suggests using an Adder to race into Fort Zancudo. See the P-996 Lazer page for that.
Top speed
We don’t list a top speed here because we haven’t found a measured figure from a major outlet. The in game stat bars only show how cars compare to each other.
