The JoBuilt Phantom is a heavy semi truck in the Commercial class. It is built to pull trailers, and it is the truck behind one of the more memorable chases in Grand Theft Auto V.
Where to find it in Story Mode
The Phantom features in the story mission Fame or Shame, where Michael and Trevor are back together. After a scene at the Maze Bank Arena, you run outside, take the big truck with its trailer and chase the TV host Lazlow through the streets until he ends up in the Los Santos River.
Gold medal goals that involve the truck
- Fastest Speed: reach top speed in the Phantom.
- All Hooked Up: don’t unhook the trailer.
- Bearing Down: stay close to Lazlow throughout the chase.
IGN’s guide notes that oncoming traffic can knock the trailer off, so watch your speed if you want the trailer goal. It also notes the chase is not meant to hurt Lazlow, so don’t ram him or use weapons. When he briefly cuts onto the railway, you can stay on the road and keep him in sight.
