The Obey Tailgater is a four door executive sedan, and in Grand Theft Auto V it is the default car of Michael De Santa. IGN’s guide describes Michael’s Tailgater as black.
Where to find it in Story Mode
You don’t have to hunt for this one. It is Michael’s default car, so switch to him and it is his to use.
Changes during the story
IGN’s guide notes that at one point in the story Michael’s son Jimmy borrows the Tailgater. When the car comes back it has a few performance and cosmetic modifications that Jimmy fitted. If you plan to customize the car yourself at Los Santos Customs, keep in mind that this story event can change how it looks.
Design
IGN’s guide describes the styling as drawing on several German executive sedans, with a large chrome grille, sharp headlamps and split ten spoke wheels. It is a smart, understated car that suits a retired criminal trying to live a quiet family life.
