GTA 6 costs $79.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition in the US, £69.99 and £89.99 in the UK, and €79.99 and €99.99 in the eurozone. Every other country has its own local price, set by the PlayStation Store and the Microsoft Store. The table below lists both stores in 33 countries, exactly as their official pages showed them on November 1, 2026.
Confirmed Take-Two announced the US prices on June 24, 2026: $79.99 for Standard and $99.99 for Ultimate, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The announcement gives US dollar prices only, so for every other country the official source is the store page itself.
Prices by country
Standard / Ultimate Edition, digital. Each country links to its release time page, and each price links to the store page we read it from.
Checked on November 1, 2026. We have written every price in the same style (a dot for decimals); the stores use their local formats. Stores can change prices, so the price at checkout is the one that counts.
Where PS5 and Xbox prices differ
In 27 of the 33 countries the two stores charge exactly the same. The exceptions:
- Argentina, Chile and Colombia. The PlayStation Store charges in US dollars (US$79.99 / US$99.99). The Xbox Store charges in pesos.
- United Arab Emirates. The other way round: the PlayStation Store charges in dirhams, and the Xbox Store in US dollars.
- Mexico and Saudi Arabia. Both stores use the local currency, but the Xbox Store’s price is a little higher: MXN 1,499 against MXN 1,292.24 for Standard in Mexico, SAR 309 against SAR 301.56 in Saudi Arabia.
Analysis Where a store charges in US dollars, your bank converts the price on the day you pay, and it may add a foreign currency fee. If you are torn between consoles anyway, our PS5 or Xbox guide covers the other differences.
What the price buys
Confirmed Both editions include the full game. The Ultimate Edition adds extra vehicles, weapons, outfits and shops, and is sold only as a download. The Standard Edition also comes as a boxed copy, which holds a download code and no disc. Two things come on top of the game, whatever the country:
- The Vintage Vice City Pack. Confirmed Take-Two says it comes with every preorder and purchase made before November 20, 2026.
- A free month of GTA+. Confirmed Take-Two says digital preorders include one, and the PlayStation Store listing repeats it for digital preorders made on the PS Store. GTA+ is Rockstar’s membership for GTA Online; see GTA+ price and rewards.
Boxed copies and retailers
Boxed copies of the Standard Edition go on sale on November 12, 2026, according to Take-Two. Shops set their own prices for them, so they can be lower or higher than the store prices above, and they change with offers. We list official stores and major retailers on where to buy GTA 6.
Analysis A boxed copy holds a code for one region. Buy it in the country your PlayStation or Xbox account is set to, or the code may not redeem.
Why prices differ between countries
Analysis Sony and Microsoft set each country’s price in its own currency, usually including local sales tax. That is why the US price ($79.99, before sales tax) looks lower than the UK (£69.99) or the eurozone (€79.99), where VAT is already included. Don’t compare countries with a currency converter alone: taxes, and which currency the store charges in, change the real cost.
Buying from another country’s store is not a way round this. An account is tied to one country, and gift cards and codes only work in the country they were sold for.
Common questions
How much is the Ultimate Edition upgrade?
The Xbox Store in the US lists the Ultimate Edition Upgrade at $20 (checked November 1), the same as the gap between the two editions. Rockstar says PlayStation owners can buy the upgrade on the PlayStation Store. Details are in GTA 6 editions and price.
Will GTA 6 go on sale on launch day?
Not announced No store has announced a launch discount. We will update this page if prices change before or after November 19.
