GTA 6 is getting its own soundtrack album. Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17, 2026, made with Atlantic Records and out on November 19, the same day as the game.

It has 34 original tracks, written for the game’s version of Vice City and Leonida. You can pre-save it on the big streaming services now, and vinyl and CD sets are up for preorder.

The six singles you can play today

Rockstar released six songs on announcement day, and they show how wide the album goes:

ArtistTrack
Yung Lean (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)That’s It
Travis Scott (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)RHYNO
CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. & Etienne de CrécySexy Magic
Morgan WallenLast Thing You Need
Rauw AlejandroMacacoa 2000
Keith RichardsBright Lights, Big City

Rap, house, country, reggaeton and a Rolling Stone on one tracklist: Rockstar’s own word for the roster is “genre-defying”.

Vinyl and CD editions

The album is also coming out on vinyl and CD at launch. Three versions are only sold on the album’s own site, gtavi-thealbum.com:

  • a limited liquid-filled vinyl
  • a splatter vinyl
  • a CD jewel case

Other stores get their own vinyl colours with new art each: Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters and independent record shops.

TechRadar reported that the limited-edition vinyl collection had already sold out, so check the album site for what is still in stock.

Album or radio: what’s the difference?

The album is new music made for GTA 6, sold and streamed like any other record. It is separate from the in-game radio, which plays licensed songs with radio hosts. Rockstar says it will share more about the music, including the game’s dynamic score and the radio. The stations it has confirmed so far are in our GTA 6 radio stations post.

Our take

Thirty four original songs is a big bet on music, and the six singles are a smart preview: each one aims at a different audience, so almost everyone hears something they like before the game is out.

The one catch is the physical editions. The rarest versions are only on one site and the limited vinyl has already gone, so if you collect records, the retailer colourways are your best bet now. If you just want to listen, pre-saving on your streaming app is enough: it lands on November 19 with the game.
