CJ and Cesar ambush a meeting on a San Fierro pier, picking off gunmen with a sniper rifle from a rooftop before moving in on foot.

Pier 69 is the fourth Syndicate mission and starts in Esplanade North, San Fierro. CJ and Cesar go after T-Bone Mendez at the pier, with Woozie’s men joining the fight. IGN strongly recommends carrying a sniper rifle.
Walkthrough
- Step into the red marker. Cesar calls down from the roof of the building ahead.
- Go down the narrow path on the right side of the building and climb the stairs to meet him.
- After the cutscene, snipe T-Bone’s men on the roofs. Don’t hit Woozie’s men, or the mission fails.
- Once the roofs are clear, another cutscene plays. Follow Cesar back down the stairs towards the pier.
- Use the parked cars at the front of the pier as cover and clear the gunmen on the ground and roofs.
- Push on to T-Bone, the red blip standing in the open at the end of the pier, and shoot him until the cutscene starts.
- A second target escapes into the water and heads for a boat. Take the other boat and chase it.
- Shoot from the boat until the target’s boat blows up.
Tips
- GameSpot says you can drop T-Bone with a single headshot from the wooden walkways above the pier.
- With a sniper rifle you can hit the swimmer before he reaches the boat and skip the chase, IGN notes.
- If you run out of ammo in the boat chase, GameSpot suggests ramming the other boat onto land. The other driver can’t shoot back.

T-Bone Mendez is shot and falls into the sea. The man who runs for the boats is Ryder, and he dies when his boat is destroyed.
