Little Haiti sits on the north side of the central part of the mainland of Vice City, between Downtown and Little Havana. Rockstar’s manual for the game calls it the center of Haitian life in the city and suggests a visit to Auntie Poulet “for a bit of voodoo and gumbo.”
What’s here
- Auntie Poulet’s place, where the Haitian gang missions come from. GameSpot notes that a Voodoo is parked right next to it, and IGN lists her shack as the place to find the Voodoo for the Sunshine Autos list.
- Kaufman Cabs, the taxi firm in the heart of Little Haiti that Tommy Vercetti can buy for $40,000.
- Phil’s Place, the hangout of arms dealer Phil Cassidy. The manual places his warehouse north of Little Haiti. After his two missions, GameSpot says you can buy military weapons there, including a minigun and a rocket launcher.
Gang war
Little Haiti is the Haitian side of the gang feud that runs through the middle of the story. In GameSpot’s walkthrough, Avery Carrington’s mission Two Bit Hit has Tommy dress in Cuban colors to crash a funeral here, and the Cubans’ mission Cannon Fodder takes him into a street fight in Little Haiti. Later, the Haitian missions for Auntie Poulet have Tommy working the other side. IGN warns that once both sets of missions are done, the Haitians treat you as an enemy.
Collectibles
GamesRadar+ lists 5 hidden packages: two at Phil’s Place, one down some steps behind a clothing store, one on the balcony of a house behind Kaufman Cabs and one on a rooftop you reach by helicopter or a stunt jump. IGN lists a single rampage, near a group of small adobe houses east of the Printworks, with a Tec-9.
