Wade tags along on many of Trevor’s missions, usually as comic relief. He also travels with Trevor to Los Santos, where the pair look for Wade’s cousin Floyd.
The drive to Los Santos is one of Wade’s most useful scenes. IGN notes that Trevor explains his friendship with Michael to Wade on the way, which fills in a lot of Trevor’s backstory for the player.
After the mission “Hang Ten”, Wade drops out of the main story. IGN notes that he only appears again in optional social interactions after that point.
