The Freeway is the big biker motorcycle of GTA San Andreas. IGN calls it the ultimate biker’s bike, with lots of power and tall ape hanger handlebars, and suggests tuning the radio to K-DST while you ride.
Where to find it
IGN’s vehicle guide says the Freeway is common in Flint County, Red County, San Fierro and Las Venturas.
Bike School reward
You can also earn a Freeway that always waits for you. The Bike School is in Las Venturas next to the stadium, and IGN says it opens once you complete the story mission Yay Ka-Boom-Boom, which gives you safe entry to that part of the map. Its six tests cover a donut, a 180, a wheelie, a ramp jump, a stoppie and a jump into a stoppie. The rewards depend on your medals across all tests:
- Bronze (70 to 89 percent): Freeway
- Silver (90 to 99 percent): FCR-900
- Gold (100 percent): NRG-500
IGN says the reward bike is parked in the lot in front of the school once you qualify. The tests also raise CJ’s biking skill, which helps him stay on any bike.
Exports and Imports
IGN lists the Freeway on the third list of the Exports and Imports job at Easter Basin in San Fierro. The Bike School reward is the easy way to tick it off, since that bike is a guaranteed spawn.
How it handles
IGN does not rate its speed against the sport bikes, but it describes the Freeway as powerful and built for long rides. For pure pace, the PCJ-600 and NRG-500 are the sport bikes to look for, while the Sanchez suits dirt tracks.
