Viceport is the working port of Vice City, at the southeast end of the mainland next to the airport at Escobar International. It is a district of docks, cargo ships, hangars and fuel tanks, and GameSpot’s guide describes the boatyard as hard to miss with all the large boats around it.
What’s here
- The Boatyard, Tommy’s cheapest business at $10,000, with speedboats and the race Checkpoint Charlie.
- Large ships at the quays, including the Chartered Libertine Lines ship named by GamesRadar+.
- The Vice City Port Authority main building, a big dock hangar and a loading dock area.
Collectibles
GamesRadar+ lists 9 hidden packages in Viceport. In general terms they are around the fuel tanks, the parking lot opposite the airport, apartment blocks near the ships, on two ship decks, inside the dock hangar and at the loading dock. It also places one on the upper level inside Sunshine Autos in this section. IGN’s older guide has a rampage on the big ship at the entrance to the shipyard, where you destroy 15 vehicles with a rocket launcher.
Missions
Viceport is a regular stop in the business side of the story:
- Spilling the Beans: for the Print Works, Tommy boards a ship here to find a captain who knows about counterfeiting. GamesRadar+ notes a hidden package on that ship’s deck.
- Hit the Courier: also for the Print Works, Tommy ambushes a courier bringing printing plates to the docks.
- Cabmageddon: the last Kaufman Cabs mission sends Tommy to the docks for a fake pickup, and GamesRadar+ places a package at the loading dock seen in that mission.
