Raul Bautista

Rockstar’s tagline for Raul: experience counts.

Who he is

Confidence, charm and cunning: Raul is a seasoned bank robber who is always looking for talent willing to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards. His official profile also warns that his recklessness raises the stakes on every score. Sooner or later, Rockstar says, his crew will have to double down or pull their chips from the table.

Two of his lines on Rockstar’s site sum up his attitude: “A professional adapts,” and “Life is full of surprises, my friend.”

In the trailers

• Trailer 2 (May 2025): TechRadar said Raul appears briefly, apparently on a job with Jason and Lucia.
• An Extended Look (August 2026): Raul is the client in a getaway after a bank robbery. Rob Nelson of Rockstar North described the mission to Famitsu, as translated by GamesRadar. You start as Jason, shooting at police from the car while Lucia drives. The game then switches you to Lucia at the wheel, with Jason and Raul firing from the back seat. GamesRadar’s live coverage adds that Raul gives Lucia a pep talk about how she could be a professional, and that the crew burn the car afterwards and switch to a van.

GamesRadar’s account suggests the job came to Jason and Lucia through Brian Heder, who hands them work at his rooftop party earlier in the video.

Official screenshots

Rockstar’s gallery shows Raul on the phone with someone working at two computer monitors behind him, driving with a handgun hidden in one hand and an open bag of cash on the passenger seat, standing with his arms crossed by the throttle of a boat, and wearing a suit on a neon lit street. He also appears on the game’s cover art, according to Rockstar’s editions page.

GamesRadar’s weapons guide spotted him holding a Capo pistol in one screenshot and aiming a Duke Arms Company carbine in a video on Rockstar’s site.

What we don’t know yet

Rockstar has not said how many heists Raul leads, how his crew is put together, or who voices him.
