GTA 6 has five fixed dates left before you can play it. Take-Two reports results on Monday, November 9. Preloading opens on Thursday, November 12. The Miami Heat play as Vice City on Wednesday, November 18. The game launches on Thursday, November 19, and the preorder bonus offer ends on November 20. The biggest gaps are the review date and the exact unlock time.

Wednesday, November 4
GTA Online’s Halloween event ends
Confirmed The last day of GTA Online’s October event, including 3X GTA$ and RP on Halloween Survivals and Slasher modes. Finish all five weekly challenges by today for the extra GTA$2,000,000. This is GTA Online in GTA V, not GTA 6. Details in GTA Online Halloween 2026.
Not announced Rockstar has not yet posted what GTA Online runs after November 4. We will add any event week it announces before launch.
Monday, November 9
Take-Two’s second quarter results
Confirmed Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company, releases results for July to September after the US stock market closes. The conference call starts at 4:30pm Eastern Time, with a live webcast at take2games.com/ir, according to Take-Two’s own announcement.
The quarter ended on September 30, so it holds no GTA 6 sales. What to watch is whether Take-Two keeps its $8.0 to 8.2 billion forecast for the year and whether it says anything new about preorders. Our Take-Two earnings post will be updated that evening.

Last day to claim the free Turismo Omaggio
Confirmed If you earned the NoPixel V Twitch drop by November 1, claim the Grotti Turismo Omaggio in GTA Online by today, Rockstar Support says. See the free Turismo Omaggio.
Thursday, November 12
GTA 6 preloading opens
Confirmed Digital preorders can start downloading GTA 6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, one week before launch, according to Rockstar. Code-in-box copies are available from the same day so their buyers can preload too; the box holds a download code, not a disc.

Rockstar’s UK union vote opens
Rockstar’s UK workers start voting on recognising the IWGB union, Kotaku and GamesRadar reported. Voting runs to November 26. Analysis It doesn’t change the release date. More in Rockstar’s UK union vote.

Virgin Media Ireland’s paid play competition closes
Virgin Media Ireland’s offer of €100 an hour to play GTA 6 for eight hours closes to entries today, Variety reported. Only adults living in the Republic of Ireland can enter, and the winner has to post an honest review on Instagram or TikTok. See every record GTA 6 has broken before launch.

Union tribunal closing submissions
Closing submissions in the employment tribunal over the 31 workers Rockstar dismissed in 2025 are expected on November 17 and 18, Kotaku reported. A ruling date has not been reported.
Wednesday, November 18
The Vice City Heat night
The Miami Heat play as Vice City at home against the Milwaukee Bucks, live on ESPN, the night before launch, as Kotaku reported from the team’s announcement. A tip-off time has not been reported in the coverage we follow. See Miami turns into Vice City.
Reviews: date not announced
Not announced Rockstar has not announced a review embargo for GTA 6. GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both had reviews published the day before release, GameSpot noted, but that is history, not a promise. We explain what is known in when will GTA 6 reviews come out, and our review roundup goes up as soon as the first reviews do.

GTA 6 launches
Confirmed Grand Theft Auto VI comes out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S (release date). Rockstar describes it as a single player experience.

GTA VI: The Album
Confirmed The official album, 34 original tracks with Atlantic Records, comes out the same day, according to Rockstar. See GTA 6: The Album.
Limited edition DualSense controllers
Confirmed Sony’s two GTA VI DualSense controllers, in white and black, launch from November 19 at $84.99, €84.99 or £74.99, the PlayStation Blog says. Both are limited quantities.
Friday, November 20
Preorder bonus deadline passes
Confirmed Rockstar’s store says to order before November 20 to get the Vintage Vice City Pack, while supplies last, so November 19 is the last day. The free month of GTA+ for digital purchases on PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store has the same deadline. Compare what you get in GTA 6 editions and price.
