Tierra Robada
Tierra Robada is the northwest county of GTA San Andreas, with El Quebrados, the Bayside Boat School and the ranch where the desert chapter begins.

Tierra Robada is the county in the northwest corner of the map. GamesRadar+ describes it hugging that corner, with the sands of Bone County between it and Las Venturas. IGN notes that Tierra Robada, Bone County and Las Venturas all open up once CJ finishes Yay Ka-Boom-Boom in San Fierro, along with new safehouses out here.
Story
The desert chapter starts in Tierra Robada. IGN’s walkthrough of Monster, the first mission you meet on arrival, sends CJ over the previously blocked bridge to a mystery caller’s ranch, where CJ is put in a Monster truck. The test is a 35 checkpoint race to finish in 6:30 or less, with the payout depending on your time. From there the story moves on to Highjack, Interdiction and the airstrip at Verdant Meadows.
What’s there
- El Quebrados: a small town with a safehouse and a police station. Outside that station CJ can meet Barbara Schternvart, one of his optional girlfriends, who loves drives around town. GameSpot places El Quebrados northwest of the Sherman Dam.
- Bayside: the marina town in the far northwest with the Boat School.
- Safehouses: IGN lists two, El Quebrados and Tierra Robada, at $20,000 each.
- Oysters: IGN counts seven Tierra Robada oysters, the first just southeast of the Boat School.
- Unique jump: the Arco del Peste jump launches from a mountain ramp over the water toward Tierra Robada, per IGN.
